Parent’s Voices
Hundred Paths value the feedback that we receive from our parents deeply.
Here are some of their experiences below.
“At Hundred Paths, the sessions are centred around unstructured, child-led holistic learning which can deepen a child's appreciation of nature and develop a positive long-lasting relationship with the natural world.
We have seen N grow and be nurtured by the coaches into becoming a more confident and risk-taking child who values and cares for the environment. She has had the experience of climbing, rolling down a slope, trekking in the wild, learn ‘survival skills’ and whittling in the outdoors. We are truly grateful for the coaches who created a safe and happy tribe for N. Thank you.”

“Hundred Paths is such a safe space for children to be children. I love how the coaches are very attuned and practice respectful caregiving.”
After trying one or two Forest programs, I do like how Hundred Paths is more authentic to the FS approach. My 4 year old looks forward to her weekly sessions and I really appreciate how detailed their sharings are after the session. It makes me feel, as a parent, that I was with them and it helps me reflect and try to support my daughter at home too.

“As first timers for the parent accompanied sessions for our toddler, we experienced a slow and gentle approach of watching our toddler explore and connect to nature at her own time and pace.
We truly enjoyed the sessions as we ourselves get to slow down and enjoy nature.Keep up the good work, Hundred Paths!”

The best testament to an activity is the feedback from the child.
My son always looks forward to attending sessions with Hundred Paths. I see him shine in his element of engaging in conversation, caring for others and being creative. He comes away from the sessions grounded and deeply satisfied. I love that he gets to experience the joy of self discovery, peer learning and socialise in a calm and child-centric setting.

My 3.5yo daughter, Z, joined FS with Hundred Paths when I realised that her childcare is leaning towards prepping her for the academics (already!, its too soon) I didnt like how they keep pushing for enrichment classes (abacus, phonics) so I wanted something that is more age-appropriate and really works on her foundation.
Ms Aminah said I would be able to see results in abt a year's time but I already saw positive results at the 1st month!
Z is more natural in nature now, her vocab definitely increased and I love how she is picking up skills that are useful way beyond the four walls of a classroom/workplace!
I'm a happy parent and I cant recommend Hundred Paths enough. Ms Aminah, Ms Sabrina and their assistants are passionate in their work and it really shows. I'm so grateful I found Hundred Paths ❤️
- Sarah Liyana, mum of 4yo Z
“I love how Aminah and her team creates a place of safety and connection for the children. Our society demands so much from our little people.
At Hundred Paths, they focus on slowing down and allowing children to be who they truly are. Aminah understands certain challenges my daughter experiences and she tries to incorporate activities during the sessions to help her with muscular development and cultivating security. I love their non-judgemental approach where they welcome all Big feelings from the children. ”

Max started forest school when he was 18 months old. The set ups for children's play are basic and simple.
I thought to myself, "Is that all for play?" I couldn't be more wrong to think that more play installations and set ups are needed to engage children.
Beyond the play setups, it is the presence of the practitioners, always keenly observing, never rushing. At first it might seem like they aren't 'engaging', but I later learnt the art of observation takes even greater effort. It's easier to direct than to step back and observe. When given the time and space, child-led magic unfolds. I noticed Max interacted more with the other children and adults. I think because he felt safe and also not rushed.
I can't say the same will happen in the forest if I were to venture out on my own. When the group stays together, there is a sense of order and calm created and the children feel it.
The adults collectively hold space and let children explore. I can't be more thankful to the practitioners at Hundred Paths – for allowing children to blossom at their own time and pace.
